Benefits of a Medium Honey Super

• Unassembled woodenware: Ideal for beekeepers who prefer to assemble their own hive equipment.

• Supports honey production: Add supers as colony strength and seasonal conditions require.

• Versatile Langstroth equipment: Suitable for compatible Langstroth hive configurations.

• For hobbyist and commercial beekeepers: A useful addition to backyard, sideline, and commercial apiaries.

What Is a Medium Honey Super?

A honey super is a hive box placed above the brood chamber or other honey supers to provide extra room for honey storage. Medium supers are popular among beekeepers because they are generally shallower and lighter when filled than deep hive boxes, making them easier to handle during honey harvesting.

During a strong nectar flow, adding suitable honey supers gives a growing colony more room to store surplus honey. Beekeepers should monitor colony conditions and add space as needed to help prevent overcrowding.

Why Choose an Unassembled Honey Super?

Unassembled hive boxes are a practical option for beekeepers who want to prepare their equipment in advance. Assemble your medium honey super before the busy season so it is ready when your colonies need additional honey storage space.

Before ordering, confirm that the dimensions match your existing Langstroth equipment. Frames and foundation may be sold separately, so check the product specifications for included components.
