15% Real Bee Pollen for Improved Acceptance

One of the distinguishing features of these Global Patties is their 15% pure bee pollen content.

Honey bees naturally collect pollen as a source of protein and other nutrients needed for colony development.

Including real pollen in supplemental patties can improve their attractiveness to bees compared with some pollen-free alternatives.

Global Patties uses this approach to create a supplemental protein feed designed for convenient consumption by honey bee colonies.

The 15% pollen content makes these patties a useful choice for beekeepers looking for a product that combines natural bee pollen with other supplemental feed ingredients.

15.5% Total Protein for Honey Bee Nutrition

Protein is an important component of honey bee nutrition, particularly during periods of brood rearing and colony development.

Global Patties 15% Pollen with HiveAlive contains 15.5% total protein and is formulated for use as a supplemental protein source.

These patties can be incorporated into feeding programs when natural pollen is insufficient to meet colony needs.

Adequate nutrition is one part of supporting healthy brood development, colony population growth, and seasonal preparation.

Enriched with HiveAlive

These Global Patties are enhanced with HiveAlive, a honey bee feed supplement developed using seaweed-derived ingredients and other selected nutritional components.

HiveAlive formulations are designed to complement supplemental feeding and support honey bee nutritional well-being.

The combination of pollen, protein, and HiveAlive provides an enriched feeding option for beekeepers who want more than a standard protein patty.

HiveAlive is a nutritional supplement, not a substitute for appropriate colony management or approved treatments for honey bee diseases.

Ideal for Spring, Summer & Fall Feeding

Spring Colony Buildup

Spring is an important period for colony development as brood rearing increases.

Global Patties with HiveAlive can provide supplemental protein when natural pollen sources are limited or unreliable.

Summer Pollen Dearths

During periods when pollen-producing flowers are scarce, colonies may benefit from supplemental protein feeding.

These patties offer a convenient way to provide additional nutrition when natural pollen collection is reduced.

Autumn Colony Preparation

Autumn feeding programs may include supplemental protein when colony conditions and local forage availability make it appropriate.

Global Patties with HiveAlive can be used as part of a broader seasonal nutrition and colony management plan.

Beekeeping Tip: Supplemental protein patties should be used according to actual colony needs, available natural forage, and local seasonal conditions. Protein feeding may stimulate brood rearing, so timing is important.

Ready-to-Use 1 lb Protein Patties

Global Patties are supplied as convenient 1 lb (454 g) patties, eliminating the need to prepare your own protein mixture.

This makes feeding straightforward for beekeepers managing one hive or many.

General Feeding Instructions

1. Assess the colony's nutritional needs and natural pollen availability.

2. Open the packaging and prepare the patty according to the manufacturer's directions.

3. Position the patty where the bees can access it, typically above the brood nest using a suitable hive arrangement.

4. Close the hive carefully.

5. Monitor consumption and colony conditions.

6. Replace or replenish patties as needed.

Always follow the manufacturer's current feeding and handling recommendations.

Available Box Sizes

Patty counts are based on the stated 1 lb individual patty size. Confirm the exact packaged count when preparing your Shopify inventory.

The 10 lb box is convenient for smaller feeding programs, while the 40 lb box provides a bulk option for beekeepers managing multiple colonies.

Storage & Handling

To help maintain freshness:

• Store patties according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

• Keep packaging closed until needed.

• Protect from excessive heat and direct sunlight.

• Freeze unused patties to help preserve freshness.

• Thaw frozen patties appropriately before feeding.

• Inspect patties before use and discard any that show signs of spoilage.

Freezing is a convenient option for beekeepers who purchase larger boxes but do not need to use every patty immediately.
