Phacelia is an annual that produces a beautiful lacy lavender flower in a tall upright stem. Phacelia is a quick growing plant which produces a fine, feathery but dense carpet that shades and holds the soil to stop erosion. Phacelia attracts pollinators and is one of the very best bee plants. Flowers blooms shortly after immerging and continues to bloom and produce pollen and nectar until Fall. Phacelia is known in the industry for nectar and honey production.

Suggested seeding density is 5 lbs per acre

Sow phacelia from late spring to late summer, whenever a bed will be unused. Broadcast seed into cultivated soil so that the seeds are about 2 inches (5 cm) apart and one-half inch (1 cm) deep.
