The Innisfil Creek Honey Art Competition
Art Submission Period: June 1 to August 31, 2017
Winner Announcement Event: OBA Fall Conference TBD
Beekeeping, Beekeepers, Honey Bees, Bee Hives, Bee Hive Equipment.
No Photography, Video, Computer Animation, Spoken Word or Performance Art. All other media are acceptable.
The winning works of art will be selected by a jury chaired by Brian Scott. The jury will consist of approximately five. The jury's selections, made from all eligible entries received, will be final and without appeal in all matters related to the Competition and awarding of the prizes.
Grand Prize (1 Winner)
A one-time $1,000 cash reward. This will be considered the purchase price for Innisfil Creek Honey to acquire sole ownership and reproduction rights (royalty free) of the winning work of art. The Grand Prize winner will be acknowledged in all media and press releases.
Runner Up (2 Finalist)
A one-time $250 cash reward for each of the 2 Runner Up Finalists. This will be considered the purchase price for Innisfil Creek Honey to acquire sole ownership and reproduction rights (royalty free) of the winning work of art. The Runner Up Finalists will be acknowledged in all media and press releases.
· To qualify, all submissions must include the following:
· A fully completed “Innisfil Creek Honey Art Competition Entry Form”. To download, click here.
· Hi-resolution jpeg of the work of art being submitted for judging and short description
· Artist's CV and artist statement
If a participant's work of art is shortlisted, the participant will be advised by Innisfil Creek Honey to submit the original work of art for the final judging phase
The art entry must be original in concept, design and execution. Any entry that has been copied from an existing photo or image that was created by someone other than the participant will be considered fraudulent and a violation of the Competition rules and regulations and will not be accepted.
How to Submit an Entry
Send the completed entry form and all requested support documents as outlined above to Innisfil Creek Honey's head office, Attention: Brian Scott, on or before August 31, 2017.

Terms and Conditions
If the declared Grand Prize winner or Runner-up finalists cannot be reached within five business days after the jury's selection or declines the prize, another entrant will be selected.
Before being declared a Grand Prize winner or Runner-up finalist, entrants will be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time two forms: (a) “Purchase Agreement of Original Work of Art” and (b) “Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release”.
Prizes can only be redeemed by the declared Grand Prize winner and Runner-up finalists (non-transferable). No communications will be entered into except with the selected entrants.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be exchanged or modified.
This Competition is not open to employees of Innisfil Creek Honey, representatives, dealers, agents, other suppliers, plus those with whom they are domiciled. Innisfil Creek Honey takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries or for typographical or other production errors. Innisfil Creek Honey is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising of this Competition.
